Midjourney v. 6.1’s attempt at Lady Liberty and Charles Darwin.

My name is Craig Willy and I am an E.U.-U.S. policy consultant and writer with a focus on the intersection between politics and evolution. This includes looking at how Darwinian evolutionary insights can help us understand political trends and thinking seriously about humanity’s evolutionary future.

We are living in an exciting time of biotechnological breakthroughs enabling us to better understand, even shape, our species’ evolutionary trajectory. Major themes include human nature, biotech policy, population trends, natalism, and reprogenetic technologies, with many developments covered in my flagship Repronews newsletter.

“Man is by nature a political animal.”—Aristotle

“The biggest innovations of the 21st century will be at the intersection of biology and technology. A new era is beginning.”—Steve Jobs

I currently work as a consultant for Acumen, one of Brussels’ leading public affairs consultancy, with a focus on health and biotech policies.

My published work has been featured in a wide variety of outlets, including the Bertelsmann Foundation, EurActiv, the German Press Agency (DPA), the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), EUObserver, VoxEurop, OECD blogs, the LSE EUROPP blog, the Fair Observer, and the magazines Marianne, Dilema Veche, The Parliament, and Aporia.
