What happens when it collapses?

Should this happen, the nations will be poorer, more divided, and at greater risk of violent conflict between them. It does not seem likely for foreseeable future however.

The problem is the crowd running the EU is anti-European and don’t conceive of Europe as a civilization but only as an economy. On foreign policy and immigration alone they have a horrible record.

What would "conceiving Europe as a civilization," not an economy, entail in your view?

A Europe independent of America. A civilizational bloc run by people who actually love Europe, its peoples, and history.

EU policy is largely a reflection of its Member States. Has British policy become more "civilizational" since Brexit?

Who runs foreign and immigration policies in Europe, pray tell?

The EU is largely run by its Member States. Some want migrant redistribution. Most migration (visas) is determined by national policies.
